Where Mountains Meet Community, and Every Story Matters
Welcome to Solace Grove
In the luminous moments when dusk deepens into night and the full moon bathes the world in silver light, we gather here—drawn by the call of ancient wisdom, the steady rhythm of nature, and the shared knowing that stories still yearn to be told, wisdom still longs to be lived, and legacies still unfold with every breath we take.
Solace Grove Full Moon Magazine rises from the understanding that some of life’s most profound revelations come not in darkness, but in the glow of clear seeing. Just as the full moon reveals what was hidden, we meet here to illuminate the insights, reflections, and soulful stirrings that guide us on the path of living legacy.
Here is a space for those who value that wisdom ripens over time, that legacy is not a monument to be built but a life to be lived out loud, and that the most collaborative (transformational) conversations happen where openness meets authenticity. Whether you are an older stepping gracefully into your later chapters, a seeker attuned to the pulse of the earth, or simply someone who finds solace in thoughtful reflection—you are welcome here.
Within these pages, you’ll encounter:
_Living philosophies that bridge ancient roots with modern life,
_Meaningful practices that honor both the messy and the miraculous,
_And stories that remind us we are threads in a much larger tapestry—a timeless dialogue between what has been and what is yet to come.
The full moon is rising. The grove is aglow. The townspeople walk with you!
Welcome home to Solace Grove!

About Living Your Legacy Through Awareness
Your legacy isn't created after you're gone—it's being built now through multi-sensing awareness. By combining intention (your "why") with attention (your "how"), you can shift from proving your worth to sharing your gifts. Simple daily practices like morning intention-setting and evening gratitude help you live with grace and create meaningful impact/influence.
Awareness Revisited: The Presence of Unfolding the Legacy Pathway Gracefully
By Dr. Stephen Hobbs for Solace Grove Full Moon Magazine (July 2025)
Writing as WE, to share what awareness means for us between, together, and beyond!
Introduction: What Is Awareness and Why Revisit It?
Awareness is noticing what is happening. It is the space between seeing and valuing. When we revisit awareness, we return to how we see things and ask, “Is this still true for me?” We heighten the importance of this question when considering our enduring legacy.
A legacy is more than a gift or a memory. It is the path we walk. It is how others will remember our steps, our actions. As we walk through life, we build this legacy step by step, action by action. Awareness keeps us steady on that path.
Awareness as Intention and Attention
Two abilities shape awareness: intention and attention. Intention is the reason we do something. Attention is the focus we give to what we are doing.
Imagine you are planting a tree. Your intention is to grow something that will offer shade. Your attention is what you give to the soil, the water, and the light the tree needs. Without both, the tree may not grow well. Without both, your legacy becomes unclear.
When we pay attention to our actions, we shape our legacy. When we act with intention, we give meaning to those actions. In unity, they embody our future selves.
Awareness as a Younger Person
As a younger person, awareness seems to come quickly. You notice what others say. You see where you stand. You hear what is popular. Your senses work hard to keep up. Life moves fast. Choices come often.
At that age, awareness helps you take steps into the world. You try new roles. You test new values. You build your place in your family, your work, and your community. Awareness at this stage is strong. It gathers and grows. It is wide like a river, full of movement.
Young people focus on what is around them. It helps them find their place. It also helps them discover what matters and what does not.
Awareness as an Older Person
As we age, awareness shifts. It becomes quieter. It slows down. Instead of racing ahead, it sits with us. It listens more than it speaks.
Older awareness is deep. It reaches into memory. It connects moments. It joins the past, present, and what may come. This kind of awareness notices the small things—a handheld, a kind word, a quiet walk in the woods.
Older awareness helps us shape our legacy. We ask, “What did I love?” “What did I give?” “What did I leave behind in the hearts of others?”
This awareness looks inward. It listens to the soul. It is steady, like a pond, reflecting what has passed and what still waits.
From Doing to Being: Grace in Awareness
Younger awareness often feels tied to doing. We try to prove ourselves. We say yes to more. We want to be seen, to be valued. We measure our worth through work and action.
Older awareness shifts toward being. It says, “I am here. I am enough.” It looks for meaning in stillness. It invites us to move with grace, not to rush. It gives room for rest, reflection, and wisdom.
This shift helps us unfold the legacy pathway with grace. We no longer chase. We begin to share. We speak truth with kindness. We act with care. We leave space for others to rise.
Three Awareness Practices to Walk the Legacy Pathway
1. Morning Presence Check
Each morning, sit for a few minutes. Place your feet on the ground. Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. Ask yourself:
_What do I want to be aware of today? (Intention)
_What matters most for this day? (Attention)
This check invites your awareness into the day with intention and attention. It shapes how you walk through each moment.
2. Legacy Lens Storytelling
Pick one memory each week. Share it with a loved one or write it in a notebook. Begin with:
_“I remember when…”
_“This mattered to me because…”
When we tell stories through a legacy lens, we give our awareness a place to land. We see the value in our steps. We pass on lessons.
3. End-of-Day Gratitude Reflection
Before sleep, name three things you are grateful for. These can be simple:
_A warm meal
_A kind conversation
_A laugh with a friend
Gratitude brings awareness to the goodness in our lives. It reminds us that presence is enough.
Legacy Pathways Need Grace, Not Perfection
Walking the legacy pathway does not need to be perfect. We will miss steps. We will forget some lessons. We will make changes.
What matters is the grace we offer ourselves along the way. Awareness helps us return to what matters. It reminds us we are still unfolding.
Think of legacy like weaving. Each moment is a thread. Awareness helps us see the colours. Intention gives us the pattern. Attention keeps our hands moving. Grace ties it all together.
From Self to Others: Awareness in Community
Legacy is not only what we leave for others. It is what we live with others. When we are aware of others’ stories, we build a stronger community. We listen with care. We help without asking for a reward. We give from the heart.
Awareness in the community asks:
_“What do they need today?”
_“What gift can I offer now?”
_“How can I show up with love?”
Legacy grows stronger in the community. It becomes a shared path, not a lonely road.
Nature as a Teacher of Awareness
Step into the woods or sit in your garden. Watch the leaves. Listen to birdsong. Feel the wind on your face.
Nature teaches us to slow down. It moves with the seasons. It grows without rushing. It falls and rises again.
Awareness rooted in nature is gentle. It helps us walk the legacy pathway without fear. It shows us that each season matters.
Spring shows us how to begin again. Summer invites us to grow. Autumn teaches us to let go. Winter gives space to rest and remember.
With each season, our awareness changes. With each season, our legacy deepens.
Legacy as a Living Presence
Legacy is not only about the end of life. It is about how we live now. Awareness revisited helps us live with meaning in each stage.
As a younger person, your awareness helps you shape your path. As an older person, your awareness helps you understand that path. Together, they form your living legacy.
You are always unfolding. You are always becoming. Awareness keeps you in touch with the truth of your journey.
Closing Thoughts: Your Legacy, Your Way
The path of legacy is not one road. It is many steps, many choices. When you revisit awareness, you choose to walk with presence.
Let intention guide your reason. Let attention hold your focus. Let grace remind you that your path is already meaningful.
Every day, you are writing your legacy. With each breath, each word, and each action, you are shaping what will last.
Be present. Be kind. Be aware.
And trust that your legacy is unfolding, gracefully.
Words to Walk With
Here are five phrases to keep near as you revisit awareness:
“My presence is my gift.”
“I walk with purpose.”
“I sense what matters.”
“I decide with care.”
“My legacy is unfolding.”
Print them. Post them. Say them out loud. Let them guide you.
The Gift of Life Pivots
Here are 3 gifts of a Life Pivot event—a moment when something significant happens that invites or requires you to pivot (alter direction, shift focus, or reimagine your next steps):
1. Clarity of Values and Priorities
A Life Pivot event—whether joyful or challenging—pulls your attention to what matters most. It clears the clutter. You begin to see:
- Who is truly important
- What lights you up
- What you are no longer willing to tolerate
This clarity helps you make the pivot with intention. Your choices become simpler because your be-have-do is realigned to your values.
Legacy Connection:
Your legacy becomes a reflection of what you value today. This gift of clarity sharpens the stories and contributions you will pass on.
2. Courage to Choose Again
Life Pivots often bring discomfort or uncertainty. The pivot requires you to take action even when you are unsure of the outcome. In this tension, you rediscover:
- Your courage to try something new
- Your ability to let go of old roles, patterns, or plans
- Your trust in your own inner wisdom
The decision to pivot is a decision to grow. You give yourself the gift of possibility.
Legacy Connection:
Deciding again models resilience and adeptability. It shows that life is not fixed; it is lived and shaped moment by moment, step by step, action by action.
3. Invitation to Meaningful Contribution
A Life Pivot invites you to ask, “What can I gift from here? How can I serve or share differently?”
It helps you:
- Identify new ways to express your gifts
- Create deeper connections with others
- Leave a mark that aligns with your heart-head-hands
The pivot opens space for legacy to move from idea to action, from dream to deed.
Legacy Connection:
Your contributions after a pivot often carry the wiser-kinder meaning because they come from experience and renewed intention.
In Short:
A Life Pivot event and the decision to pivot offer:
- Clarity—what truly matters.
- Courage—to decide differently.
- Contribution—a fresh path to meaningful giving.
These gifts shape the story you live today to leave the legacy tomorrow.
