Whereas you have had a career guided by work-related mission and vision (adventures together), in which you integrate your purpose and intentions (unique journey), all guided by your hierarchy of values

And so, with this awareness, new meaning and outcomes are assigned to living legacy life
And so it continues till you decide it will slow and/or stop!
Mission
Definition: The shared, overarching aim of a group or community that guides collective action toward meaningful outcomes.
Living Legacy Life: The mission of the many reflects how people come together in shared adventures and stewardship—like advancing outdoor education, conservation, or intergenerational learning. This mission supports the collective why behind their actions. It creates a container where individuals can live out their unique purpose.
Vision
Definition: The shared picture of a desirable future that the community or group works toward achieving.
Living Legacy Life: The vision for the many imagines a thriving, ethical, and connected world—quiet green cities, rich soil, dignified work, wild places protected. This shared vision complements each individual’s intention, helping align personal journeys with collective aspirations.
Purpose
Definition: The individual’s unique reason for being; their personal sense of contribution, meaning, and motivation.
Living Legacy Life: Purpose is deeply personal—it frames why you walk your legacy path, why you write your stories, and why you share your wisdom. Your purpose fits within and strengthens the collective mission without being swallowed by it.
Intention
Definition: The deliberate focus or conscious choice behind one’s actions, moment by moment.
Living Legacy Life: Intention shapes how you live your purpose each day. It’s your chosen approach, mindset, and commitment to aligning actions with values. Intention makes sure your unique journey flows in harmony with the shared vision.
Values
Definition: The core ethical principles that guide both individual and group behavior.
Living Legacy Life: Ethical values are the “stepping stones” along the legacy pathway. They ensure interactions are respectful, caring, and reciprocal. Shared values guide how people manage safe systems together and how individuals lead with integrity through safer practices.
How They Complement Each Other
- Mission and Vision are shared during adventures together. They are about managing safe systems, ensuring that people work cooperatively toward a meaningful, ethical outcome.
- Purpose and Intention frame the individual’s unique journey. They allow a person to lead by example, moving from simply following safer practices to leading others into more wholehearted, ethical, and legacy-aligned living.
- Unique Journeys involve Adventures Together and Adventures Together evolve Unique Journeys!
