See: the use of Environmental Occupational Health and Safety Symbols like flammable and poison
Ask your employees and customers for symbol suggestions.
Verify 100% acceptance (because you may not get 100% agreement as some persons have a visual symbol - negative - bias ... thus the 100% acceptance level is important).
Recognize Each Person in Ways that Has Meaning to the Person
Manage Rewards Program Accessible to All Employees
These two actions go together like two sides of a coin ... to have one is to have the other. Because to use one at the expense of the other is managing-leading folly = yes, the lack of good sense!
Each person requires/requests recognition that fits their hierarchy of values.
