Workplace transition requires those accountable for sharing - communicating the Vision Story do so in a way that is congruent with the message - the use of media - and in the words of the audience. That is, the Vision Statement remains the same - it's the story that can fluctuate so long as the group listening comes to the collaborative pathway and destination decisions.
Words matter! AND, their congruence matters more through story-telling and story-sharing. When the stakeholders read-to-appreciate and see-to-action the Vision - the persons sharing the Vision Story (& Direction) must have their Face Fingers Feet Fronting Forward through the workplace transition.
The cliche applies: Walk the Talk knowing you many have to run/swim sometimes and move the talking to collaborative conversations more so.

This action is simple enough - correct?
Why then - do those communicating the Vision Statement via the Vision Story stumble - confuse the audience?
You cannot take words for granted. In whatever sequence you share words - the meaning is up for interpretation and resonance.
Great storytellers - story-sharers get this point - and shape the word combinations by audience.
Use message, medium, audience approach to organize communication
When you organize the communication (the story, the pathway) connect the message, medium, and audience with the three important framing questions.
Message connects why and who
Medium (Media) connects how and why
Audience connects who and how
Why am I telling/sharing this story?
Who is the audience for the storytelling and story-sharing?
How will I tell/share the story?

Use Story-Telling and Story-Sharing
- Reflect on the importance of stories in your life
- Consider the difference between story-telling (manage) and story-sharing (lead)
- Reflect on the stories you’ll tell and share about creating the well-living workplace
- Recognize stories connect the flow of the journey and selected destinations – guides the listener to hear something similar in different ways
- Use words, images, sounds to embellish your stories

You lead person from the system (story connects with the person's system)
