Tree Stories Fragility – Your New Song with the Trees As Autumn Moves In
Tree Stories Fragility is about the stories of personal fragility, witnessed by the trees that stand with you, your trees. About Living Life Fully with IT (your fragility). About Your New Song with the Trees because the leaves are falling and Autumn is moving in.
Fragility is an wonderful word to share through Tree Stories.
I appreciate this word! Over the years I've taken it for granted!
Fragility - quality of being easily damaged - being vulnerable - being delicate ...
And yet not being Broken - as in, force-ably separated into two or more parts - crushed by grief - wearing an out-of-order sign.
Tree Stories Fragility and Living a Full Life
Today - more so then yesterday - even though it started yesterday - snow blankets the ground and hangs in the branches of the trees.
The first snow confirms a shift in the seasons because a few days ago we shifted from Summer to Fall/Autumn. We moved through the Fall Equinox on September 23, 2019.
The first snowfall of the seasonal turn has me reflect on what was and what is forthcoming.
What appeared ... It's about my deeper IT - that is, I Transition. About reflecting on my harvest - and saying good-bye to the green deciduous trees. Renewing a Be-Have-Do into the winter ...
It alerts me to the fact, it's time to shift gears and see another turn of the wheel.
Trees express their fragility in full expression of their time on earth with this seasonal shift.
It's a time when the leaves and needles will fall most rapidly ... littering the lawns, creating forest cover, and food for later on.
More so, I hear a new song among the trees.
The Northern deciduous create a new sound without their leaves.
The larch and tamarack join with new reframes.
And the Northern coniferous retune for the time ahead.
There is beauty in the these new songs with the leaves and needles falling.
It reminds me of the fragility of living my full life. And I dare say you as well?
There are times when it's important to drop old thoughts and rid oneself of old baggage claims. Like the trees, I stand tall embracing my fragility.
More, it's important to appreciate fragility - vulnerability and celebrate them.
Today, in presence of the snow - with trees as my witness - I drop perfectionism. I no longer see recent life happenings as brokenness. Instead I reclaim all of those scattered parts and sing a new song.
What do you make of the trees around you? In what ways are they shifting?
In what ways do you see the fragility of the trees in your neighbourhood?
What fragility do you see in yourself that you could share with the trees, and sense a reframed way forward?
What is your new song?
Today is a great day to visit your tree friends - and sing your new song no matter where you are in the world.
From my head, heart, and hands ...
a song autumn brings
added to your voice
I learning your song
and you, mine
let the trees conduct
caress our words
they appreciate us
