Tree Stories 3719 is about journals ... the one in which you write & draw, and the one we're creating for those who want a journal in which to write and draw
From the archives, I'll often pull out my journal about my bus trip from Katmandu, Nepal to London, England in 1979. I get a chuckle when reading about the money spent, where and for what. Also, incidents like:
- eating a peanut butter covered french baguette sitting on a park bench looking at a church in Cologne, Germany
- watching soldiers board the bus because of the start of the up-rising in Iran
- laying on the floor of the bus - near the back - because I was so sick; however, we had to keep moving to make the next destination
Journals record history and mystery, and highlight the presence of each moment - moving thought to the idea shared.

And, I'm sure you could share aWELLsome stories from and about your existing journals. They are a great source for camp fire stories and comedic insights for your new monologue. They are a source of your legacy stories as they are a reference book for the generations who follow.
They record your personal growth and they list what is forthcoming whether a To do List, a Bucket List, a To Be List, or a Paddle Down the River List!
Nowadays, there are digital journals. You type in the text and add images. There are voice-to-text journals when walking and moving about.
Still the paper journal - the tree journal offers a connection with trees and plants. There is something special in this connection. Add a fountain pen - I'm in the tree tops smiling!
Our Creation of a Tree-Related Journal ...
It's time to develop and make a available a tree-related journal.
When we've begun to collect tree-related quotes - original tree drawings - 100 word tree stories - quick how-to tips for tree trekking - and a section about Tree Trekking and the Write for Shade Movement.
If you have "something" to add ... we will add
- your first (and optional: last) name,
- your website address/or name of your town-city
and we'll send you a free copy of the journal (in print and digital formats).
... 90% of the funds raised are channelled to the Minstrel Ways Fund.
