The third ecoliteracy tenet is "development" like the next stage in the growth of something (after a forest fire) ... like forming the idea of something (to bring into "thingness" re the video to the right below) ... like the occurrence of a situation, the phenomenon (river cuts a new course through the landscape) ... like the turn of events about what's happening (challenging climate change)
