For Tree Stories 1319 - I thought about the connection between Magician and Mystic and their involvement with Trees.
For the last couple of weeks I've seen several references to Magician and Mystic ... and that got me to thinking and exploring.
Thought I would share some insights about the two terms and link them to trees ... because that's what I do ))smiles
~~~ Magician ...
- Forefront: associated with magic - magical powers - entertainment
- Background: a person with exceptional skill in a particular area
- someone involved in transition - re experience-based movement from A to B
- opening one's eyes to see what's before you
- experience the spirit body mind to soul
- about moving forward --> that is, historically-influenced present to mystery
- aware of something - the practicality - primarily the attention
~~~ Mystic ...
- Foreground: associated with contemplation - self-surrender
- Background: a person who apprehends spiritual truths beyond the intellect
- someone involved in becoming one with the whole
- closing one's eyes to see beyond what's before you
- experience the spirit soul mind to body
- about moving fromward --> mysteriously-influenced future to present
- aware of something - the imaginary - primarily the intention
Magician and Mystic Connections with Tree Stories
Based on above I realize I walk among the trees as a Magician, as a Mystic, and as both - dancing as I do with the trees.
And that realization made me happy ...
As a Magician I experience the magic of the trees - shifting their actuality
As a Mystic I sense the mystery of the trees - contemplating their potentiality
As Both ... it's a magical mystery tour ... it's a mysterious magic tour
I have so much to learn from the trees - they are my Magicians AND Mystics ...
